Leap of Faith at Leeds City Museum
As part of the events organised by GossipGrrrl in collaboration with Leeds City Museum, Newton Danger and Kit George exhibited work on the theme of Transness and Faith both past and present. These works were displayed in the entrance hall.
Judaism and Christianity contain many examples of being trans and/or intersex, with the Talmud containing at least 8 genders, and Christianity venerating multiple saints that we may now think of as transgender.
